In a current musical climate where originality can often be overtaken by the mundane and regular, Matt Tolfrey’s tireless devotion and relentless energy have taken him to a point where he is beginning to shape the musical world around him.

LAURA JONES
Laura Jones' debut track Intentions spent the summer being regularly unleashed on the world's most esteemed parties by the likes of Seth Troxler, Lee Burridge and Sasha. The Leeds based producer's first foray into production was released on Matt Tolfrey's Left'd label in September and became a much loved part of DC10's Summer soundtrack. Next up is her follow up house bomb 'Love In Me'. Set to drop on Left'd's vinyl big brother Leftroom and with early support from Dan Ghenacia, Dyed Soundorom and Ryan Crosson, the track is hotly tipped for big things at this year's Miami Winter Music Conference. Future cuts are also destined for Leftroom and the similarly red hot Visionquest label suggesting that the rest of 2011 should continue to be injected with Laura's distinct brand of stylishly melodic house. With such an esteemed start in production, it's no surprise that her first major excursions behind a DJ booth were for influential underground nights, Mulletover and Below earning her the stamp of 'The New Recruit' in Mixmag. Laura rates Ricardo Villalobos, Magda and Clive Henry as early influences. A classically trained pianist and singer, as a child she also studied Cello and Clarinet forming a musical beginning that suggests even greater things are yet to come.

KATE SIMKO
An artist waiting in the shadows in Chicago, Kate Simko stepped in to the light in 2011, pushing boundaries and leaving an indelible mark of individuality and inspiration on dance floors worldwide. To start, Kate released her acclaimed debut album ‘Lights Out’ earlier this year on Berlin's esteemed Hello?Repeat label. An artistic statement that bridged her diverse love of house, tech-house, minimal, ambient, and beyond, this is an LP in the classic sense - an album to be played from start to finish.
